Sausages With Cheese And Chips

Today was our last cooking session with Mrs Tuipolotu at Tamaki College and for our last day we made sausages with cheese and chips, Yum!. 

Step one - Slice sausages in half.

Step two - Top it up with cheese and tomato.

Step three - Put the oven up to 180c and then bake for 10 mins.

Step four - Serve with tomato sauce.

Christmas Cross-Over🎄

On the 26th of November we started our Christmas Cross-Over with some Saint Kentigern Year 9 boys. 

We were set into groups and we made snowflakes with MR. Reid, and this is one cool fact about Mr. Reid is that he has been doing this for 20 years by now.  We had a lot of fun making some cool snowflakes.

✳It's Time To Shine✳Monday the 5th of November is Guy Fawkes Day. 😧Warning!😧

• Don't hold it while you are lighting it up.
• Stay 5 or 10 feet away from the fireworks.
• Remember to have a bucket full of water by your side.

Just letting you know, Firework burns are the most painful thing in the world. It will hurt for a long period of time until it heals the right way.

Fish Pie!

Fish Pie
1 - Peel potatoes and bake until it's cooked
2 -  Mash the potatoes onto a baking tin
3 - Mix tuna fish with 1/2 a can of mushroom cream and 1/2 a cup of mayonnaise
4 - Mix well then top up on potato mash with cheese and bake for 10 mins
Then you would have a delicious meal. Enjoy.

But it isn't just because of your character and that but the thing is if you take one of your young ones please make sure you take care of them and don't let them go on there own. Also one of the most important things is to hold their hand and don't ditch them. Just make sure you keep your young sibling safe.

Cooking At Tech

Chocolate Muffin
1 - 2 C of SRF ( South Rising Flour )
2 - 1 C of sugar
3 - 1/2 C of oil
4 - 1 C of Milk
5 - 1 egg
6 - 1/4 of cocoa
7 -  Combine all in a bowl and mix well, scoop the batter into the muffin tray
8 - Bake 180c for 15 mins
9 - Poke your cupcakes with a stick that is clean and then if some batter is on your stick then it's not ready but if it isn't sticky then it's ready.

Skipping Demonstration Is Near!😲

It's week 9 and my team is still working on our routine, I'm pretty nervous because skipping demonstration is on Friday and today is Wednesday, I think I'll faint once I show it to our audience. I'm already sweating and I'm still practicing, oh my gosh what should I do? For me I just like things to be as perfect as possible. But sometimes it just doesn't go right.

Yummy Chicken!😋

We had tech with Mrs Tuipolotu and we made some yummy chicken.
Chicken was really fun to make and my partner was Ana.
We had some difficulties working together but at least our team members 

Working with Ana was cool.
I love being her partner because she is always on task.
The chicken we made was delicious and also fun to make.

The End Of Volleyball!😭

Sadly it came to  the end of volleyball, It's sad to hear our Coach Renee leave. We all hope we see her next year or in the future. Anyways thank you so much Coach Renee for highlighting our day, and also thank you for teaching us how to play volleyball and more, It was a fun experience being with Renee. Volleyball was so fun.😍

On the 31st of August, it's daffodil day!.

If any of those who don't understand what daffodil day is for, then I'll explain to you what it is, Daffodil Day stands for cancer. Cancer is a very terrifying disease that can spread to innocent people. There are different kinds of cancer like lung cancer, kidney cancer and more, also cancer can slowly affect different parts of your body very badly. So all I expect is a gold coin donation from you, that's all.

Our Art Learning

On Thursday.
We met Mrs Lonsdale -  Cooper, if it was hard to pronounce her name then you could call her Mrs L- C. She first told us to grab two colours of  jovi modelling clay for art. The colours that were there were brown, red, orange, green, white, grey, black and yellow, it was some boring colours but anyways I chose green and white. She read a book of different drawing's and more but at the same time she said we could play with our jovi modelling clay to make it soft. After a long time around, I made a flower bracelet and Mrs Golder came around and took pictures of everyone's master piece. 

Kahurangi Group Assembly

On Wednesday we had some visitors who came to our school and their group was called Kahurangi and the show that they represented us was based on Maori myths and legends. So this video shows Lucky demonstrating some warrior moves. They were harder than baby moves. Our volunteers were Mr Reid, Texas and Kingston. They repeated what lucky did and their strange and funny moves filled us with laughter and joy. Now it came to the end, Thank you so much for reading my blog.

The End Of Hip Hop😭😭😭😭

Saying goodbye to Jess....

Our hip hop instructor Jess has helped out a lot of students at Ruapotaka school and its sad to hear her leave. We had tons of fun with her from the past few weeks when she was still here teaching us she has been helping us with our confidence and she told us to not to give up. Jess taught us a lot of new dances but with old songs and the songs that Jess has chosen for us was Manolo , Lean And Dab and Up Town Funk. These songs were represented as our hip hop dance. This is it and all I want to say is thanks to Jess for teaching us a lot of dance moves and especially the wave that included our arms and fingers that was a famous dance action to do in a lot of hip hop movies.

Buddy Reading With Room 6😁

Last Monday we had Room 6 to come in Room 12 for buddy reading my buddy was Emily.
Her Goal that I gave to her was that she needed was to pronounce her words when she is stuck but at the same time she was excellent at explaining what the book was about and she was also very acceptable at expressions.

I wasn't by myself I was also with Tyra, She was another helper of Emily so we both read blogs each to Emily and we asked her questions if there were any words to clarify for us to define. The blogs we read to her were our own blogs and also Room 12 blog.

Who Am I?

My physical appearances include fuzzy hazel dark hair and dark brown eyes

my favourite food is hash brown, Ice-cream and fruit salad.

What I don’t like are children because they provoke me a lot

and I hate it when people are sad because it won't make my day sometimes.

My hobbies are watching my favourite anime like Naruto, Swimming Club, Fairy

Tail, Seven Deadly Sins and also Seven Deadly Pirates.

Those are pretty much my favourite anime which are awesome.

My second hobby is playing Fortnite,

Fortnite is a game that is famous and has over 2 million people playing it.

In  this game the characters explore their world and that’s how it became so

popular.  

My third hobby is making people laugh.

Making people laugh is a good thing to do and people will supposedly like you.

I make people laugh for a reason like when they are sad

and lonely but sometimes I feel like doing nothing.

My last but not least hobby is helping people with their work and I believe

I could be a confident helper by helping people who actually need help.

Back To School....

Hello I am Joanlisi and finally I have became a year seven student going up to year eight next year in 2019. It has been over two months since I blogged and my brain was starting to feel empty so I was glad that school was finally starting so I could learn more. From now on I am in room 12 and my teachers are Mrs Golder and Mr Reid.
