A special ceremony for families who lost people. Jacinda Ardern issued a wholehearted and wide reaching apology. Neither the government nor Air New Zealand had made a full apology before. 257 people have lost their lives, I hope it doesn't happen again.

Our Last Tech Session At Tamaki College
This Week Wednesday, it was our last week at Tech. I was in wood work and I made a mirror. I loved it in wood work we receive M&M's when we help out, or clean or beat him in a matchstick game. Sir Grundy was very strict with his rules, we weren't allowed to sit on the stools because a lot of us kept leaning on it. (Whether we fall, hit our head and probably get injured.) I had finished making my mirror but i had to leave it for six hours for the glue to set.

Measles Outbreak 😯
Measles have attacked Samoa and other Auckland schools. Measles are deadly and you may die, I reckon you should get your measles injection or get yourself checked. Be careful when you are meeting up with other people or other schools. It's very dangerous to go out in public, whether you get sick, kidnapped or you may get in danger.
Please be careful!!

Manaiakalani
last week Wednesday our whole school had the opportunity to watch other school's film ( Tamaki College, Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Puau Te Moananui A Kiwa, Tamaki primary, Stonefields and Point England.)
Our school had to behave, Most people said that we were the most behaved school.
A lot of the films were very creative and cool, My favourite film was Tamaki primary zombies, I loved the idea on how they were creative with the heroes.

Fire Breaks Out In Sky City!
A major fire has caused a lot of toxic pollution in Auckland City. Please make sure you have a gas mask or a cloth with you so that you can cover your nose and mouth from the toxic air. At tech we were with Sir Grundy. We had to finish off with our 320 piece of wood. A lot of the girls were making a mirror but the boys loved to make toys like trains, helicopters and many more toys. I personally love Wood Work, we have to be on task and focus so that we can get good reports.

Please watch out for whoever knocks at your door at 3 to 4 am. There are people who would be knocking at your door, a girl and about 1 or 4 boys. If you open the door to them, they would eventually set you up. These people are burglars.
So I'm warning you all about this and I want you all to be careful to who you open the door to. Please check before opening your door.

I don't quite agree on how they changed Air New Zealand to Air All Blacks because some people in New Zealand don't really support All Blacks but I love the idea and I will continue to support the All Blacks.

Earthquake hits White Island!😲🌋
There were 196 quakes in the area around New Zealand that happened since last week Thursday. GNS scientists have said about the earthquakes getting stronger, which was a bad sign.
Whakaari/White island has the most active Volcano in New Zealand and was hit by a number of earthquakes and have damaged the Volcano and has caused a lot of smoke.
(how I feel about it)
It was an overwhelming feeling when it came to think about the earthquakes getting stronger. It made me feel scared about the Volcano being active or not.

Duffy Show!
On Monday we had an upcoming Duffy show that was called Duffy Stuck In The Game. To start off we had to listen to the rules for what we had to do. It was very funny for the little kids which made the seniors happy too.
It was quiet until the juniors started shouting and it was just hurting my ears. The teachers probably were excited too.
At last we had to get our Duffy books but unfortunately we weren't able to receive them so we had to wait.
