Measles Outbreak 😯
Measles have attacked Samoa and other Auckland schools. Measles are deadly and you may die, I reckon you should get your measles injection or get yourself checked. Be careful when you are meeting up with other people or other schools. It's very dangerous to go out in public, whether you get sick, kidnapped or you may get in danger.

Manaiakalani
last week Wednesday our whole school had the opportunity to watch other school's film ( Tamaki College, Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Puau Te Moananui A Kiwa, Tamaki primary, Stonefields and Point England.)
Our school had to behave, Most people said that we were the most behaved school.
A lot of the films were very creative and cool, My favourite film was Tamaki primary zombies, I loved the idea on how they were creative with the heroes.

Tech Wood Work
On Wednesday we had tech with Sir Grundy. We were ruling off our measurements on a 320 piece of wood. At tech my friends and I had a lot work done. We used a hack saw to cut off our measurements from our wood. We focused on our work so that we could get it done.

Wood Work With Sir Grundy
Today we had an awesome day with Sir Grundy. We had to draw what we wanted to make, we mostly had to focus on the joints. Wood work was really fun, we had the chance to choose eight or more of the things we wanted to make, we used a ruler so that we could know our measurements.

We Have Discovered An Extinct Large Parrot
New Zealand scientists have discovered an extinct cannibal parrot's fossils, they have said that it was dated back 19 million years ago. It is known that this parrot is named "Hercales Inexpectatus" and it is about 1 meter tall, so its usually just half height of an adult.

Air New Zealand Have Released A New Safety Video
Air New Zealand have launched a new video about your safety as well as how they changed Air New Zealand to Air All Blacks. There were six types of safety steps that you'll have to do on the plane when your in danger.
I don't quite agree on how they changed Air New Zealand to Air All Blacks because some people in New Zealand don't really support All Blacks but I love the idea and I will continue to support the All Blacks.

Graphics Tech 2019
On Wednesday we had Graphics at Tamaki.
The first thing we did was made 3D game that was going to get printed by the 3D printer.
I was thinking of making a game of naughts and crosses. (Plot Twist: Using the naughts and crosses into something else other than X or O)

Dunkirk Riverside (Tamaki Estuary)
On Monday we had a school trip to Tamaki Estuary and we had a lot of fun, we also had a bucket so we could pick up the rubbish. I was with Rayshaw, Liza, Sosiua and Hazel (Hazel was a visitor and so as her being the boss of Razor and Ashley.) we picked up most of the rubbish and apparently we were the ones who picked up more rubbish than everyone else and we even discovered a huge Jellyfish.

Tech
Today I was in Graphics class. We received paper and a pencil from Mrs Fergison. Our instruction was to fold our paper into 4 squares and write ideas on what we would want to come up with.
I love the idea on what we wanted to do 3D.

🌟⭐🌟Matariki⭐🌟⭐🌟

Seven sisters:
- Matariki.
- Ururangi.
- Tupu a nuku.
- Tupu a rangi.
- Waipunarangi.
- Waita.
- Waiti.
Matariki represents the seven stars as in the seven sisters. Matariki is known as a mark for the beginning of the year. Some people think that there's a mother that is surrounded by six daughters and some think it's the eyes of the God but really it's truly known as the seven sisters, which is a Maori legend.

Earthquake hits White Island!😲🌋
There were 196 quakes in the area around New Zealand that happened since last week Thursday. GNS scientists have said about the earthquakes getting stronger, which was a bad sign.
Whakaari/White island has the most active Volcano in New Zealand and was hit by a number of earthquakes and have damaged the Volcano and has caused a lot of smoke.
(how I feel about it)
It was an overwhelming feeling when it came to think about the earthquakes getting stronger. It made me feel scared about the Volcano being active or not.
